Pedigree is a document, in which there are ancestors of the dog, what allows you to check its origin. We know, that all ancestors had breeding privilege, which means that puppy won't make a surprise by growing into different dog than was expected.

What is more - breeders who offer pedigreed puppies are members of the Polski Związek Kynologiczny (organization responsible for dog pedigree registration services in Poland) and they have to follow the statute.

To sum up: in case of buying pedigreed puppy you know that you'll get Alsatian which is checked by ambassador of PZK and is wormed and inoculated. Buying dog with pedigree is not an obligation for you, it is only a guarantee of dog's origins.
